BUSINESS

1. Letter of Invitation: You must request a letter of invitation from the host organization you will be visiting.
   – This letter must be written on company letterhead, Include the full local address and phone number of the organization or person to be visited.
   – Request the same validity of visa as in the Business letter.
   – Specify the number of entries you are requesting for your visa.
   – An emailed copy of the letter will be acceptable.
2. Letter of Incorporation: Copy of the sponsoring company’s Certificate of Incorporation from the Registrar of Companies in Nigeria.

4. Bank Statement: A copy of your most recent bank statement is required.
5. Hotel confirmation: A copy of your hotel confirmation(s) is required.

Subject to Regularization (STR)

1. Four (4) Visa Application Form completed and signed.
2. Four (4) Passport type photograph

4. Four certified copies of expatriate quota approval from Nigeria or approval from Nigeria for STR. (Ministry of Internal Affairs).
5. Four (4) copies of the certificate of incorporation of the Nigerian company
6. Four (4) copies of Company Memorandum & Article Association (U.S. company)
7. Four (4) copies of applicant’s diplomas and certificates.
8. Four (4) copies of documentation of confirmed accommodations for duration of stay in Nigeria.
9. Four (4) copies of Corporate Affairs Particulars of directors and their shear holdings thereof: (CAC FORMS 2&7)
10. Four (4) copies of current monthly quota utilization returns as endorsed by the Immigration Service
11. Four (4) copies of the international certificate of vaccination for Yellow Fever.
12. Four (4) copies of Business Permit issued by the Ministry of Interior (for companies that have foreign shareholders)
13. Four (4) copies of the letter of acceptance

16. NOTES: STR Visa are issued according to the approval from Nigeria at the discretion of the consulate.

OFFICIAL or DIPLOMATIC PASSPORT HOLDERS ONLY

1. Valid and signed U. S. Official or Diplomatic Passport (valid for at least 6 months past the end date of your stay in Nigeria; with at least one blank visa page)
2. Visa Cover Letter from U.S. Department of State
3. Letter from sending department or agency addressed to:
   “Embassy of (the country you are planning to visit),
   Visa Section, Washington D.C.”

The letter must explain all of the following:
Applicant’s position and title
The purpose of the trip
Dates of the intended visit
Contact person in the country you are planning to visit
